You only know a persons story if they decide to share their story with you and it’s the small minded people, that lack creativity to come up with their own weaponry (guns) instead they use your personal information that you shared to attack. They lack their own creativity to come up with there own springboard. Deepak Chopra & Dalai Lama inspire with words of wisdom but a person of zero talents is negligible and out right negative. A thinly veiled attack should not be considered positive or inspiring on any level.
Succeeding in life is the ability to aim high, failure comes from setting your standards to low and hitting that low mark. That’s why the saying lay down with dogs and end up with fleas is apropos. Watch your friends! Shouldn’t we inspire to aim high? The fantasy of seeing yourself doing better or being better is called what? Positive energy which is no secret. In my 22 yrs of living I have seen enough reality to embrace fantasy. Make up is a fantasy that some call an illusion. A good movie is a fantasy, fashion is a fantasy because they all can transport you. I know who I am, to embrace the persona of Kelis, because I can relate to her spirit, and at the end of the day still know who I am.
Music is the soundtrack of "MY" life, and who among us is not inspired by lyrics that go straight to the heart. Who hasn’t listened to a song and cried over a lost love or failed relationship? Damn, for that matter who hasn’t listened to a song and remembered exactly what they were doing when a particular song came out; Hmmm seems like a soundtrack to me.
We cannot fight modernity, we can however fight mediocrity! Modernity should not be used in the context when inferring that we are the same; instead it should embrace the past, while moving forward.
